- [ ] Go through each room in your house and identify items you no longer need or use.
- [ ] Gather all selected items into one area, such as your garage or a designated room.
- [ ] Clean and inspect each item to ensure they are in sellable condition.
- [ ] Take clear, well-lit photographs of each item to use in listings.
- [ ] Research similar items online to determine fair pricing and create price tags for each item.
- [ ] Create a list of items with descriptions and prices for easy reference during the sale. A spreadsheet helps with organization, if you’re comfortable making one.
- [ ] Post each item to a marketplace or forum to gauge initial interest and make a first offer to your community.
